When I key up a handheld/mobile radio zello goes from waiting to active but no sending/sound over zello??

You did NOT add your Zello repeater channel to gateway OR you did it wrong, watch this video:

NOTE: if this setting is OFF, it will also cause the SAME problem!! So go under Privacy/Security/Microphone, under the LET DESKTOP APP ACCESS YOUR MICROPHONE, changed it to ON!!!
