Why does the date & time the coo coo bird go behind a shutter when a radio is keyed up?

This is done so if the time was up to play the date & time and weather, it will be on "pause" in till the radio is not keyed up! This stops the date & time and weather from talking over someone!

Note: this does NOT do this for zello!! It ONLY does this when a two-way radio is keyed!!
